Our Story

Beecher Street is family-born and artfully inspired to cherish and celebrate the important things in life.

For the love of family & watercolors.

In 2016, Cecilia started playing with watercolors as a creative outlet when her husband, Michael, got sick. Everyday, she painted a new watercolor for him to encourage his recovery and brighten his mood.

Furthering her touch on her community, she started creating cards and gifts with watercolors for friends and neighbors. It was then that she was inspired to create decorative cookies.

Recreating an old recipe and memory from her Aunt Mary Clay, Cecilia perfected the sugar cookie recipe and used her artful talents to decorate them with bright colored icings.

In 2020, Beecher Street Cookies was born.

Michael passed away in 2019 - and today we honor his memory at BSC with our commitment to the American Liver Foundation & Liver Life Walk.
